In following the Old Elk tradition, every barrel begins with a carefully considered and crafted mashbill.

SIGNATURE HIGH-MALT STRAIGHT BOURBON WHISKEY

Available at 8 years old

Our high-malt bourbon pioneers a new style, broadening horizons for whiskey lovers. With four times more malt than a typical bourbon, it spotlights delicate subtlety while supporting a classic proﬁle of vanilla, caramel, and gentle spice. Already unique as our signature recipe, this bourbon takes on added dimensions of complexity as a single barrel offering.

STRAIGHT WHEAT WHISKEY

Available at 7 years old

We’ve never taken the easy route. So when we set out to make our mark with wheat, we went all in—creating the highest wheat-content mash bill we felt was right at 95% wheat and 5% malt. The result is an entirely unique, yet delicate and approachable whiskey, celebrated for its sweet notes of fruit and spice. It’s ahead of its time while still being born of tradition. And just like our Old Elk ethos, our wheat doesn’t cut any corners.

SOUR MASH RESERVE STRAIGHT BOURBON WHISKEY

Available at 7 years old

Built on the award-winning signature high-malt bourbon mashbill, we began the journey to discover what would change when experimenting with a different yeast. The robust foundation of the liquid anchors the heady complexities from the unique yeast and the result is a single barrel whiskey that transports you.

STRAIGHT RYE WHISKEY

Available at 6 years old

Our Straight Rye Whiskey—now available as a single barrel offering—begins with world-class grain and years of experience refining our approach. Crafted with fine European rye, it delivers a clean profile that’s crisp and spicy with no bite. Aged for a minimum of six years, its layered complexity reflects the care and expertise behind its creation.

RUM CASK FINISH RYE STRAIGHT WHISKEY

Available at 6 years old

Finished in 14-year-old Barbados rum barrels for 2-5 months, Rum Cask Finish Rye is built on the legendary spice foundation of the 95% rye mash bill and married with the tropical and fruity notes from Barbados rum barrels. This single barrel expression is limited in availability and offers a harmonious balance of richness and complexity.

CUSTOM MICRO-BLENDS

If you’re in pursuit of even more complexity than a single barrel of one of these whiskeys, we also offer the opportunity to batch multiple barrels and create your own micro-blend.

While each cask is made with toasted and charred American white oak, the unique life of each tree creates tiny variations in the ways it inﬂuences and shapes the whiskey carried. As distinct as a fingerprint, each barrel has an ideal match, a person or group whose tastes align with its unique charms.

Every barrel in our distillery is individually evaluated by our team, with only the finest reserved for Old Elk’s single barrel program. This gives participants the chance to discover a cask that truly matches their palate. Because each barrel’s character plays such a critical role in the final whiskey, we often hold back select casks—well beyond industry norms—to ensure the ideal balance of maturity and power.

Make Each Bottle Your Own.

Enjoy the uniqueness of your single barrel, even as it sits on the shelf. Each bottle receives a custom label detailing your whiskey: the mashbill, age, bottling date, and more.

For those who select the signature mashbill, you’ll have the option to engrave a logo, phrase, crest, or symbol on our striking antler topper. And to commemorate the experience, we’ll send you the barrel or barrelhead to display alongside your one of a kind whiskey.

Single Barrel Tracker

Once you’ve selected your barrel, it takes just a few weeks to receive your bottles. With five weeks or less between selection and shipping, Old Elk has one of the fastest turnaround times in the industry due to our specialized and nimble team.

Our Single Barrel Tracker allows you to join your barrel’s journey from the warehouse to your hands, via shipment to your distributor and local retailer.
