WhiskyFest 2023: November 9

Our team headed to New York last month for none other than the original WhiskyFest: a premiere whisky festival created by Whisky Advocate Magazine. We sampled our top-tier products and loved introducing the OE brand to the awesome whisky enthusiasts and trade attendees.

 

What We're Drinking:
The Hot Sazzy

The classic holiday drink, the Sazerac, is taken to a whole new level: warm and toasty with a delightful Absinthe foam.

2 oz Old Elk Bourbon 
0.75 oz simple syrup 
0.25 oz Peychaud's Bitters
Absinthe Cream Foam* 

*8 oz cream, 3 oz absinthe, 3 oz egg white, .50 oz lime juice, 2.50 simple syrup, blend in blender

Pour ingredients into pre-warmed mug, add hot water to fill and top with Absinthe cream foam. Grate lemon peel over the top
