Introducing Cigar Cut™ Island Blend! Our second release of Old Elk Cigar Cut and crafted by our desire to extend summer as long as possible. Bottled this month and will be hitting shelves in September!

 

What We’re drinking

This month is peak blackberry season - it’s also a chance to celebrate one of our “OGs” at The Reserve by Old Elk Distillery, our tasting room in Fort Collins. We opened with this drink on the menu and it’s still loved today, 5 years later.

Blackberry Bourbon Mint Smash

2 oz. Old Elk Blended Straight Bourbon⁠ Whiskey
1 oz. fresh lime juice⁠
1 oz. simple syrup⁠
4 blackberries
6 mint leaves⁠

Method: Muddle blackberries, mint leaves and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker. Add fresh lime juice, Old Elk bourbon and ice and shake vigorously for 20 seconds. Strain over crushed ice and garnish with blackberries and mint leaves.
